Day 1: Denpasar - Tambulaka – Newa Beach Resort ( -/L/D)

Upon arrival at Tambulaka Airport in South-West-Sumba, our english speaking guide will pick you up and will take you directly to the hotel. After check in, you go for lunch at a local restaurant.  After lunch you visit Waitabula to see original sumbanese houeses, traditional market  and a place next to Waikelo Harbour to see hand weaving. Experience the daily life and tradition of the sumbanese people. Dinner and overnight at Newa Beach Resort.

Day 2: Waitabula  – Kodi - Waikabubak (B/L/D)

After having breakfast at the hotel you can immerse in the alien culture of West-Sumba today by visiting the traditional villages i.e. Bondo Kodi, Bondo Kawango, Parona Baroro and Rotenggaro. After that you continue to Pero Beach and enjoy the beach while having lunch (lunch box provided). After lunch you will visit Rangga Baki another interessting traditional village. In the afternoon you continue to Waikelo Sawah to see the wonderful waterfall emerging from a big cave and ending in a natural pool. Enjoy this great surrounding by relaxing or swimming. Dinner and overnight at Monalisa Hotel in Waikabubak.

Day 3: Waikabubak – Wanukaka - Lamboya Area (B/L/D)

In the morning you start your trip to Wanukaka wth stop in Lapale to admire the beatutiful land- and seascape such as the rice fields of Wanukaka. After that you continue to the kampung Waigali where you can see the skull tree that is dedicated to the war of Merapu and that was used as the altar for local rites following the head hunting. Next you proceed to the famous Pasola field at Laihuruk. After taking lunch at the beach you visit the villages Prai Goly and Waiwuang where you see one of the oldest stone graves called "watu kajiwa " of which the local people believe that it is their ancestor's boat. In the afternoon you continue to Lamboya and on the way you make several stops in Rende, Waru Wora and Wuntalaka to see among other things traditional sumbanese weaving of Sarong ikat. Dinner and overnight at Sumba Nautil Resort.

Day 4: Sumba Nautil  - Waingapu (B/L/D)

Today you set off for Waingapu, located in the east of Sumba. On the way we stop in Pasunga village in order to see one of the greatest stone graves and traditional sumbanese houses. Once you arrived in Waingapu you first check in and have lunch at Hotel Elvin. In the afternoon you visit the villages Prai Liu and Kallu village to see the process of ikat weaving. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Elvin.

Day 5: Waingapu –  Melolo - Rende (B/L/D)

After breakfast at the hotel you drive for ca.60 km to Melolo to visit the traditional villages of Pau and Rende to see the royal tomb. made of the megalithic stones and a traditional house with walls comprised of buffalo skin. Lunch will provided enroute and in the afternoon you return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Elvin.

Day 6: Waingapu  – Soe (B/L/D)

Today you will take the flight Sumba to Kupang in West-Timor. Once arrived in Kupang we will have lunch in a local restaurant and then continue to Soe. Dinner and overnight at Bahagia 2 Hotel.

Day 7: Soe – Boti – Soe (B/L/D)

After breakfast you start a whole day trip to Boti. A four wheel drive Jeep takes you to Boti village which is located about 50 km in the south of Soe. Boti is considered to be the most famous traditional village in West-Timor, known for its unique “independence” and extraordinary beliefs and culture. Boti is not only the name of the villages but at the same time the name of the tribe living there. The people there are one of the last in Timor to maintain the original beliefs and also still practise them strictly like their ancestors did. Experience the uniqueness of culture and get in touch with the indigenous people. In the afternoon you return to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at Bahagia 2 Hotel.

Day 8: Soe – Kupang (B/L/D)
In the morning you start a small excursion to the beautiful Oesela waterfall. On the way back to Kupang you drop by at the house of the Paah family at Lasiana Beach, they are not only famous players of the traditional instrument called Sasando but they also build it. Dinner and overnight at Kristal Hotel.

Day 9: Kupang - Alor (B/L/D)

Today you continue the trip to Alor Island and on arrival you go by car first to Alor Kecil and then by boat to Kepa Island. In the afternoon you can enjoy your free time at the beach in the hotel. Dinner and overnight at La petit Kepa Bungalow.

Day 10: Kepa Island - Pura Island - Kepa Isand  (B/L/D)

After the breakfast you start a boat trip to visit the islands of Ternate and Pura. After visiting local village you can spend your time swimming, snorkeling or just relaxing on the paradisiac beach. In the afternoon you return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at La Petit Kepa Bungalow.

Day 11: Kepa Island - Alor (B/L/D)

The morning is free of program before you leave by boat for Alor Kecil and then continue by car to Kalabahi. AT the Takpala Beach you can witness a traditional dance performance before you enjoy the sunset while having dinner at Pantai Reklamasi Kalabahi. Overnight at Pelangi Indah Hotel.

Day 12: Alor – Kupang (B/L/D)

After the breakfast in your hotel we provide transfer to the airport. If the time permits you can visit an orphan house in Kalabahi before continue drive to the airport to take the flight back to Kupang. Dinner and overnight at Kristal Hotel.

Day 13: Kupang – Denpasar  (B/-/-)

The morning is free of program at the hotel before we take you to the airport for the flight to Denpasar.
