Day 1: Denpasar – Maumere (-/-/D)

Arrive at Frans Seda Airport, Maumere. Our english speaking guide will pick you up at the airport and will take you directly to your hotel. The afternoon is free of program. Dinner and overnight at Sea World Club Hotel.

Day 2: Maumere – Moni (B/L/D)

You starting the day by visiting the museum of Ledalero located at the outskirts of Maumere. The museum has an interesting collection of ethnological objects from all over the region. Ledalero is named after a major catholic seminary, which is known to bring out many florenese priests. Then you continue to Sikka Village, a very famous district for its traditional weaving using organic dyes. Enjoy the serenity of Paga Beach during lunch, before going on a leisurely trek to Jopu and Ranggase villages in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the Kelimutu Eco Lodge in Moni. 

Day 3: Moni – Kelimutu – Ende – Bajawa (B/L/D)

In the early morning at 04.00 am the car takes you to the three colored lakes of Kelimutu, one of the most spectacular and mysterious sights in Indonesia. You will witness a beautiful sunrise. Then you return to the hotel and after having breakfast you continue the trip to Ende. On the way you stop in Saga village, a traditional village of Ende-Lio tribes and experience the indigenous culture by getting in touch with the local people. Before you continue to Bajawa, you eat for lunch at a local restaurant in Ende. In the afternoon you will arrive in Bajawa. Dinner at Ditos Restaurant and overnight at Sanian Hotel or Happy-happy Hotel.

Day 4: Bajawa and surrounding (B/L/D)Kelimutu colored lakes

In the early morning the car drives you up to Wawo Muda volcano, where a trekking tour about 1.5 hours awaits. Reaching the top you can enjoy the beautiful sunrise and a stunning view over the vulcanoes Inerie and Ebulobo. Afterwards you will return to your hotel and continue the trip by car along the base of Mount Inerie. On the way you visit the traditional villages Bena and Luba. In the afternoon you have the chance to visit the hot springs in Soa and take a relaxing bath there. Dinner and Overnight at Sanian or Happy-happy Hotel.

Day 5: Bajawa- Ruteng (B/L/D)

After breakfast drive to Aimere, the centre of “Arak”-production and later take a medium hike along the rainforest trail of Ranamese’s crater lake. In the afternoon you will reach Ruteng. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight at MBC Susteran Guesthouse Ruteng.

Day 6: Ruteng – Todo – Narang – Dintor – Denge (B/L/D)

Waerebo traditional villageAfter an early breakfast you depart from Ruteng to discover the southern part of Manggarai. At first you visit Golo Cara village – the best place to see ‘spider web’ rice fields. Then you continue to Todo, a traditional village where you can see the traditional manggaraian housing. Afterwards you enjoy a soft trekking through rice terraces with the beautiful landscape near Narang Village. Lunch will be provided at a local family’s house in Narang. In the afternoon you drive along the southern coastal to Dintor, where you can spend some time relaxing and swimming before drive up to Denge (some stops are possible en route). Dinner and overnight at Family house in Dintor or Denge. 

Day 7: Denge – Wae Rebo Village (B/L/D)

After light breakfast you will start a spectacular hike about 4 hours to the Wae Rebo village, with the most authentic housing of Manggaraian culture, which is located about 1100m above sea level, in the middle of mountain area. You will reach the village at noon and have lunch there. In the afternoon you have the chance to get in touch with the indigenous people and experience their culture and lifestyle. Or you can enjoy and discover the great natural surrounding by going for another walk. Dinner and overnight will be at the local villager’s visitor house. Sleeping mattresses will be provided by villagers.

Day 8: Wae Rebo – Denge – Dintor – Labuan Bajo (B/L/D)

After the breakfast in Wae Rebo, you hike down to Denge again. Lunch then will be provided in Denge, Thereafter you drive to Labuan Bajo via Dintor and Nangalili (depending on the road condition; alternatively take the route through Todo Village to Labuanbajo). Dinner and overnight at Puri Sari Beach Hotel or similar.

Day 9: Labuan Bajo – Bidadari Island – Rinca Island – Labuan Bajo (B/L/D)

After the breakfast in your hotel, we will pick you up and provide transfer to the pier of Labuan Bajo. The boat there will leave for Rinca Island. Once arrived there a trekking tour of approx. 2 hours awaits, that is the best opportunity to see the unique dragons and their prey, passing the dragon nests and out into the sunshine across an exposed savannah studded with lontar palms. Reaching the top of the exposed slopes you will be rewarded with breathtaking views. After you returned to your boat, you proceed to Bidadari Island for swimming, snorkeling or relaxing at the white sandy beaches. In the afternoon you sail back to Labuan Bajo. Dinner at Treetop Restaurant and overnight at Puri Sari Beach Hotel.

Day 10: Labuan Bajo – Denpasar (B/-/-)

The morning after breakfast is free of program and then we provide transfer to the airport for you to catch the flight back to Denpasar.
